Overview
After
having produced the Riverview Art Festival for 12 years at Jaycee Park on the
river and for two years at Tarpon Point Marina on the river, The Rotary Club of
Cape Coral moved this highly successful event to the streets of downtown Cape
Coral Cape Coral Parkway to be exact. With the move downtown we changed
the name to the Cape Coral Festival of Arts.
This
move has provided greater visibility to both the artists and the businesses on
the Parkway as well as our sponsors. (Many of the most highly regarded art festivals
take place on city streets.)
Simply
by virtue of the change in venue, returning and new artists are expressing interest
as are several local businesses with regard to sponsorship opportunities.
The
Rotary Club of Cape Coral anticipates attendance in excess of 85,000 people in
the course of the two-day event on January 10 - 11, 2009.
