The Cape Coral Festival of the Arts is quickly approaching, the weekend of Jan Jan 12, 2019,
Jan 13, 2019. We wanted to inform all Lee county arts educators and students that for the fourth year in a row, we will be hosting a separate exhibition dedicated to art students from K-12 in Lee County called “Student’s Artway on the Parkway”! There is monetary prizes for Middle and High School students, so we are requiring a small entry fee, Elementary students will be awarded with ribbons.
Elementary: no entry fee, 30 submissions allotted per school
Middle: $5.00 per student entry, unlimited entries per school
High: $5.00 per student entry, unlimited entries per school
It is imperative that we know the scale of artwork that we will be receiving so that we can have an appropriate amount of tent space available, therefore we would greatly appreciate hearing back from you as soon as possible if you are going to participate. Please email Melissa Heinemann with your entry forms. There will be security from the time of receiving on Friday night, to the time of the break down on Sunday. Remember that we will not be accepting any 3-D work this year and that all submissions must be framed and wired to hang. Submission forms must be taped to the back with title, size, and medium. We will have a team ready to hang upon receiving, or you may choose to hang it yourself.
Monetary prizes will be awarded to:
High School: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Best in Show
